About me
Finishing Breath of the Wild while drifting between hostel beds on my backpacking trip through Japan was an unforgettable experience, one that changed how I see games and the journey they can offer.
Hi! I’m Christian Le, a game programmer currently studying at The Game Assembly in Malmö, Sweden and will be looking for an internship in 2026.
My programming journey began at Lund University, where I earned a Master’s degree in Engineering Physics. What I enjoy most about programming is the problem solving aspect. Tackling challenges, working through obstacles and ultimately finding solutions, that process of struggle and discovery is deeply satisfying to me.
After several years working as a software developer, I began exploring game development in my spare time and quickly realized it was what I truly wanted to pursue.
Since joining The Game Assembly, my passion for game development has only grown stronger. There is a unique sense of fulfillment in delivering a polished game experience for others. Additionally, the social aspect of working interdisciplinary is incredibly rewarding, as it brings together different perspectives and skill sets to create something great.
I am particularly drawn to gameplay programming, while also enjoying tools development, graphics, game systems and other technical aspects of game creation, areas where I can leverage my background in software engineering.
In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, not very unexpected, but also staying active through sports like football, volleyball and badminton. I also love spending time with my two cats.
I am part of The Game Assembly’s internship program. As per the agreement between the Games Industry and The Game Assembly, neither student nor company may be in contact with one another regarding internships before April 15th. Any internship offers can be made on April 27th, at the earliest.
